22121 Mumbai-Lucknow AC Superfast Express was coming from Mumbai to Lucknow when it got derailed near Unnao Railway station at around 1.45 pm.
Train got derailed when it arrived at the platform number 3 of Unnao station. Since the train’s speed was slow , a bigger tragedy has been averted. All the passengers are safe,”

The incident could have been serious, if the pilot had not applied emergency brakes, as per railway sources.
Some passengers, however, got minor injuries, as they tried to come out of the train. The incident came as a shock to them, a police official said.
The railway track has also been damaged due to the derailment.
A relief train has been sent from Lucknow to Unnao to carry the stranded passengers.
An Anti-Terrorism Squad team has also been sent to check any terror angle behind the derailment. The NDRF team has also arrived there.
